وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًۭا فَٱضْرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ ۗ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَٰهُ صَابِرًۭا ۚ نِّعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ

Eline bir demet sap al da onunla vur, yeminini böyle yerine getir. Gerçekten biz Eyyub'u sabırlı (bir kul) bulmuştuk. O, ne iyi kuldu! Daima Allah'a yönelirdi.
